FYEO is excited to announce that it will be conducting a security audit for ICON’s interoperability product ICON Bridge.
ICON is a Layer-1 blockchain developing the bridging technology Blockchain Transmission Protocol (BTP). Through BTP, ICON will serve as the hub for “trustless” transactions between any two blockchains with smart contract capabilities. This type of fully on-chain, agnostic bridging is groundbreaking for the blockchain space.
ICON Bridge is the first iteration of BTP, allowing users to bridge assets between members of the “BTP Network”. Beginning with a bridge between ICON and Binance Smart Chain, integrations with NEAR, Harmony, Moonbeam, and Ethereum will follow.
ICON Bridge establishes ICON’s footprint as an interoperability hub, allowing cross-chain token swaps as well as more generic messaging features like cross-chain smart contract calls.
The FYEO Process
FYEO will perform a code review for CMD/GO, Java and Solidity. The initial code review is expected to conclude at the end of October 2022. After which there will be a remediation period for code fixes, a re-review period and final report.

An opinion on what security measures are in place regarding maturity, adequacy, and efficiency.
Potential issues, including loss of funds scenarios, and include improvement recommendations based on the result of our assessment.
A better understanding of writing and maintaining more secure code. The incremental increase of security is part of the overall increased quality of the project.
